She's the daughter of a man who grew up sharecropping in the rural south and a woman who was the second oldest of 7 children living in a two-room house in Louisiana. A Black girl who grew up south of Dallas, got pregnant before getting married, and had to get a job before getting a degree. She worked her way up the ladder of a corporate job for many years before leaving to pursue her own dreams in Real Estate.
Despite starting with no money, poor credit, and a lack of resources, Erika went from burnt-out and over-committed to scaling from 0 to 38 doors with a portfolio worth more than $5 million—in just a few years. She went from living paycheck to paycheck to having financial options.
But here's what matters most: Erika created the OILI Experience because she knows what it's like to build alone. She knows what it's like to walk into spaces where you're the only one who looks like you, where your background makes you an outsider instead of an asset.
